PLOT
A self-styled god named Odin comes when an alien danger known as Pillars threatens humanity and grants the populace the power of "Valkyries"—battle maidens who fly historic planes known as Hero Wings. The European Valkyrie Wing's ace is Claudia "Schwertleite" Bruford. Claudia is sent to Japan as a replacement when the S-class Valkyrie of Japan dies in battle. Her terrible history of being the only survivor in every mission, earning her the moniker "Grim Reaper," leads her to believe that she already knows why she was picked. When she arrives at the Tateyama Valkyrie Wing, she is ready to be rejected once more. She has no idea that her new allies are a strange group that have no interest in adopting her awful moniker!
