PLOT
Ryuuichi Naruhodou's childhood dream was to practice defense law and stand up for the defenseless when no one else would. But when the inexperienced attorney eventually accepts his first case with the help of his instructor Chihiro Ayasato, he discovers that the courtroom is a battleground. In these hurried trials, Ryuuichi is compelled to use unconventional thinking to learn the truth about the crimes that have been committed in order to establish the innocence of his clients. Ryuuichi is followed in Gyakuten Saiban: Sono "Shinjitsu," Igi Ari! as he takes on cases to clear the wrongfully accused of the crimes they are facing. Reiji Mitsurugi, an aggressive prosecutor who will do whatever to secure convictions, stands in his way, so it won't be simple. With his back against the wall, the defense lawyer must meticulously review both the available proof and the witness's testimony, separating truth from falsehood to unravel the enigma of each case. The courtroom conflict starts with a yell of "objection!"
