PLOT

Twelve bakers have been killed by a serial killer. Wallace and Gromit help Piella Bakewell, a former pin-up model for the Bake-O-Lite bread firm, and her anxious poodle Fluffles when the brakes on her bicycle break while they are on a delivery for their baking business. Wallace is smitten, but Gromit discovers that the brakes are fine. He and Piella strike up a quick romance, which infuriates Gromit when she redecorates their home. When Fluffles gives Gromit's belongings back that Piella had thrown away, Gromit and Fluffles share a tender moment. Gromit is dispatched by Wallace to deliver Piella's lost pocketbook. A photo album at Piella's mansion contains pictures of her in relationships with each of the dead bakers, and Gromit finds numbered mannequins representing each of them. Wallace is the scheduled thirteenth victim, completing a baker's dozen. Wallace is too preoccupied with his engagement to Piella to pay attention when he explains the proof to Wallace.
