PLOT
An extreme foot injury has prevented Akira Tachibana, a quiet high school student and former track runner, from competing as well as she once did. And despite the fact that she is thought to be pretty by her peers, she has no interest in the nearby lads. Despite their considerable age difference, Akira starts to feel something for Masami Kondou, the manager of the Garden Cafe, where she works part-time. Though perceived by some as being weak or soft, Kondou exhibits genuine concern and kindness for the patrons of his restaurant, which appeals to Akira. She feels her sentiments getting stronger as they become closer while spending time together at the restaurant. Akira ultimately decides to confess after feeling burdened by these conflicting emotions, but what will happen next?
