PLOT
Shinkurou Kurenai, 16, studies during the day and mediates disputes at night. Despite being gentle and polite, he has spent years training to survive because of his unfortunate history. He is now a skilled martial artist who also possesses a mysterious power, despite his unassuming exterior. Shinkurou accepts several assignments for his boss Benika Juuzawa, but one of them forces him to live with her bodyguard Murasaki Kuhouin. The seven-year-old girl of a wealthy family, Murasaki, managed to flee her home under odd circumstances with Benika's assistance. She finds everyday existence strange. She gradually becomes devoted to Shinkurou as a result of her interactions with her neighbors, though, as she becomes more accustomed to the daily routine and sheds her haughty attitude. Shinkurou continues to work to defend the girl despite the fact that many aspects of the task are still unknown. But to further complicate matters, he is also missing a critical piece of information: what is Murasaki's actual threat?
