PLOT
People with extraordinary talents are known as "NEXT" in Stern Bild City, and they can choose to use their abilities for good or evil. In order to highlight their sponsors and collect Hero Points in the pursuit of becoming the next "King of Heroes," a special organized group of NEXT make regular appearances on Hero TV. The performance of veteran hero Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, often known as "Wild Tiger," has been declining lately, in part because of his unwillingness to work with other heroes. After a dismal season in which the majority of the other heroes fared significantly better than Tiger, he is teamed up with a brand-new hero named Barnaby Brooks Jr. By giving his frivolous new colleague the nickname "Bunny," Barnaby quickly establishes that the two could not be more unlike. Tiger and Bunny need to learn how to collaborate even though they get along like oil and water in order to further their careers and combat the impending challenges at Stern Bild.
