PLOT
A group of young friends are set to say goodbye to one of their own in the serene small village of Sakuranomori. Sana Hidaka must relocate from his serene childhood home to the bustling metropolis of Tokyo due to his parents' business goals. Even though it hurts, he must say farewell to his dear pals, including the kind-hearted Aoi Oribe, the spirited Shuri and Shuusuke Wakatsuki twins, and the cheery Nanaka Yatsushiro. But despite his reluctance to part ways with them, he is confident that no matter how far away they are, they will always treasure their friendship's memories. Sana, now a high school student at the age of 16, travels back to his village five years later in the hopes of rebuilding his former life. He soon learns, though, that while his hometown may not have undergone significant change, the friends he left behind have changed. As Sakuranomori's pals conceal new information and carry burdens that put their former ties to danger, unsettling shadows gather over the man.
