PLOT
Famous authors from history find themselves reincarnated by the enigmatic Alchemist, an invisible force. They are given the assignment by the Alchemist to dive inside books to purify the pages of monsters known as Taints while their souls are imprisoned and bound to a vast library. Along the journey, they must also locate and recruit other writers who have become stuck in the stories that they themselves have written. While the writers adopt new and powerful personas for this project, some of them still retain some of their former selves, while others find it difficult to recall their earlier lives and the writings they had produced. They are dedicated to the cause in the hope of unraveling the mystery of their collective resurrection as well as the unanswered questions that have dogged their prior existence, despite the fact that their big goal appears to have no obvious end.
