PLOT
High school student Umaru Doma resides with her older brother Taihei. Umaru presents as the model student at school, earning top marks and possessing a variety of skills. To Taihei's dismay, she changes into a kid-sized layabout and spends time at home feeding her food and video gaming addictions. Umaru makes friends with people throughout the series by using her alternate personality, but at home she has tantrums because Taihei won't buy her things.
