PLOT
While growing up, Ichinomiya Kantarou, who had the gift of seeing demons, was teased and bullied by people who did not have it. Instead, he grew close to the demons and developed a strong affinity to them. Kantarou was informed of the ogre-eating Tengu, the strongest demon, one day. Astounded by the information about the demon's might, Kantarou made a promise to discover the demon, naming him Haruka in the process. Since then, Kantarou has looked everywhere for the ogre-eating Tengu without success, making a career as a folklorist and demon-slayer. On a specific assignment, Kantarou had at last learned of a neighboring shrine that was allegedly where the ogre-eating Tengu was imprisoned.
