PLOT
The Koto club at Tokise High School in Kanagawa Prefecture is the subject of the narrative. After all the senior members of the Koto club graduated, Takezo Kurata, who is in his second year, is the only person left. Chika Kudo submits his application as he makes every effort to bring in new members for the organization. Takezo, however, is wary of Kudo because he is a known miscreant who wrecked the koto business owned by his own family. When he learns the truth, everything is different. Satowa Hozuki, a Koto prodigy with her own goals, also joins the club. Over time, more people join the club, each with their own motivations. To play in the Koto Nationals competition is their common objective, though.
