PLOT
Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, and Amy Rose try to save Cream the Rabbit and her pet Chao Cheese from Doctor Eggman, the crazy scientist who has already taken the seven Chaos Emeralds, on an unknown world. One of Eggman's robots accidentally blasts a machine holding the Emeralds while trying to destroy his headquarters, activating the "Chaos Control" technique. This teleports Sonic, Eggman (and his robots), Tails, Amy, Cream, and Cheese to Earth, the parallel-universe version of their world with humans, as well as Rouge the Bat, Knuckles the Echidna, Big the Cat, and the Chaotix (a detective team made up of Vector the Crocodile, Espio the Chameleon, and Charmy Bee). A twelve-year-old boy named Chris Thorndyke, who resides in the mansion with his movie star mother Lindsey, corporate executive father Nelson, scientist grandfather Chuck, maid and chef Ella, and butler Mr. Tanaka, rescues Sonic after the police chase him through the fictional city of Central City, California. The anthropomorphic pals become close with Chris' family and his friends Danny, Francis, and Helen even though Chris tries to keep them hidden from his family until Cream unintentionally discloses them. As his first visit on his mission to take over Earth, Doctor Eggman makes himself known by attacking Station Square with his robot Missile Wrist, starting his first battle with Sonic there.
