PLOT
Minato Sahashi, 19, is incredibly clever in Tokyo, known as Shinto Teito (, Shint Teito, "New Eastern Imperial Capital") in 2020, yet he has failed the college admission exam twice because of his severe lack of confidence. On the same day as his second failure, Minato encounters Musubi, who practically lands on top of him. Soon after Minato discovers that she is a "Sekirei," she chooses him to be her "Ashikabi," one of the enigmatic humans with the genetic trait who can form a contract by kissing the Sekirei. This binds the Sekirei to the Ashikabi and gives them access to their full power in elimination battles with other Sekirei. Hiroto Minaka, the chairman and founder of the enigmatic and potent MBI Corporation, organizes the competition known as the "Sekirei Plan," in which 108 pretty girls, gorgeous buxom women, and bishnen compete.
