PLOT
The top student at Momogaoka College of Music, the haughty, multilingual perfectionist Shinichi Chiaki has a hidden desire to become a conductor. He was raised in a musical household and is gifted on the piano and violin. He once lived abroad in Prague, one of the world's music capitals, but he is now confined to Japan due to a childhood fear of flying and the sea. Megumi Noda, often known as "Nodame," is a piano student at Momogaoka who is infamous for her messes and odd behavior. Despite her great talent, Nodame loves to play by ear rather than from a score, which is why people think she's sloppy and silly.
