PLOT
Miko is an ordinary high school student whose world is turned upside down when she starts to encounter horrifying and repulsive creatures all of a sudden. Miko, who is utterly afraid, goes about her everyday activities while making it appear as though she is unaware of the horrors all around her. Even if it means facing her deepest fears, she must push through the fear in order to protect Hana and herself from harm. Mieruko-chan tells the tale of a girl who attempts to deal with the paranormal by seeming uninterested toward it.
