PLOT
The Galactic Alliance of Humanity was established in the far future after humanity had colonized the stars. The Hideauze, an alien race that resembles a squid, and the Galactic Alliance are at war constantly. Ensign Ledo, a sixteen-year-old soldier in the Galactic Alliance, drives what he calls "Chamber," a Machine Caliber, an automated humanoid mecha with artificial intelligence. After the Galactic Alliance's botched effort to neutralize an enemy superweapon, Ledo is thrown into a wormhole and goes unconscious.
