PLOT
The story takes place in a world ruled by "Fractale," a satellite-based virtual reality and content delivery system that ensures the stability and prosperity of humanity, on an island that resembles the Republic of Ireland in the year 2220 (some scenes were directly adapted from Galway, a city in the west of Ireland). One day, Phryne, a girl on the run, crosses Clain's path. Phryne vanishes during the night and leaves behind a pendant. Clain embarks on a quest to find Phryne with the girl-shaped avatar Nessa after successfully activating the pendant, which creates a "doppel" named Nessa. Along the way, he learns the Fractale System's hidden meaning.
