PLOT
The only settlement left in a ruined world is the faraway town of Hinomori. It is frequently assaulted by "beasts of sin" called Zaiju, but the legendary Heart Princesses are in charge of keeping it well. A monster known as a Moon Cat asks a young, snarky girl named Haruka Hani to join their ranks because she has the desire of becoming a Heart Princess. In the second episode, she defends Tamaki Teijou, her best friend, from a charging Zaiju. The fight between the Earth Wolves, the series' major antagonists, and the Moon Cats, vibrant cats that turn girls into princesses, is mentioned more and more as the story goes on. The Earth Wolves who summon Zaiju are a group of Earth Wolves who take human form and go to the same school as the Princesses.
