PLOT
Qin Yu lives in seclusion with Grandfather Lian due to meridians issues that prevent him from practicing the internal arts. Qin Yu is feeling down, so Lian gives him a strange bird, which he names Xiao Hei, to cheer him up. Qin Yu begins his journey toward cultivation in an effort to gain his father's approval. With the help of Zhao Yunxing's strict training regimen, he works to get past his physical limitation and master the exterior arts. After one of these training sessions, Qin Yu finds a red crystal while taking a break and, to his amazement, it unites with his body. Unbeknownst to him, this gradual shift provides Qin Yu amazing talents that will help him as he embarks on his quest to earn his father's approval with Xiao Hei at his side.
