PLOT
The young heir of a werewolf pack that has been defending their community for years is Freddy Lupin. He loses the Moonstone to Foxwell Cripp when attempting to use a magical Moonstone to track his family during their nightly patrol, and it appears that Flashheart perished after falling off a cliff. Hotspur, Freddy's uncle, takes over as the new pack leader. Six years later, Freddy is ready for his first wolf change, but despite Mrs. Mutton's encouragement, the longtime housekeeper, he is embarrassed when he transforms into a poodle instead. Freddy is challenged to prove his wolf credentials by moonrise the following day or face being exiled by his pack after receiving their scorn. Freddy makes the decision to attempt to take the Moonstone from Cripp.
