PLOT

The protagonist of Bunsen Is a Beast is a blue monster named Bunsen, who was the first beast to enroll at Muckledunk Middle School. His human friend Mikey Munroe supports him as he makes his way through school under pressure to demonstrate that monsters can reside happily without devouring and hurting humans. The majority of episodes center on Bunsen discovering a human culture and learning how to perform human activities. Every time Mikey visits Bunsen's house, he discovers new creatures and gains knowledge about the world of monsters. However, a young woman by the name of Amanda Killman thinks Bunsen is dangerous and wants to kill him to put an end to his kind. Every time Amanda devises a new plan, Bunsen and Mikey must outsmart her, oftentimes with the assistance of their pal Darcy.
