PLOT
Big Nate chronicles the escapades and mishaps of Nate Wright, a somewhat incompetent, but spirited and rebellious sixth-grader. He hangs out with a group of friends consisting of Francis, Teddy, Chad, and Dee Dee. Nate has a deep dislike for his social studies teacher, Mrs. Godfrey, whom he regards as his arch-nemesis and mockingly refers to as "the school's Godzilla." As a result, he frequently gets into trouble with her, as well as the strict Principal Nichols and the aging science teacher Mr. Galvin. At home, Nate resides with his single dad Martin and his older sister Ellen, who is more into feminine activities.
