PLOT
The Austrian Empire sends Princess Marie Antoinette to France to be married to Crown Prince Louis XVI at a time when social inequality and tensions among the underprivileged populace are on the rise. The political union is planned to fortify the relationship between the two nations, but the future queen is utterly dissatisfied with having her destiny predetermined. Marie Antoinette meets Oscar Fançois de Jarjayes, the Royal Guard's commander, upon her arrival in the nation. Oscar is reared as a boy with the idea that he will inherit his title as The Commander because her father wanted a son. Oscar cannot help but yearn to live life as a woman rather than pretending to be a guy, despite the fact that she is admired by both men and women. When Marie Antoinette spends her wealth carelessly, it is harder for Oscar to overlook the mounting discontent and misery of the underprivileged as he reluctantly serves the young, spoiled queen.
