PLOT
The story, which takes place at Winford Academy in the historic community of Helen's Hill, is all about knights and the jousting sport. Students are taught how to ride horses, joust, and become knights at this institution. Takahiro Mizuno, the protagonist, is a young man who was in the process of training to be a knight and jouster when he was injured. As a result, he left the knight program and enrolled in the begleiter (helper) program. He is in high demand because of his prowess with animals and past experience as a jouster. Takahiro is approached by numerous attractive girls at the school who want him to become their personal begleiter, but he consistently declines their requests. After a strange incident, his companion Mio Kisaski is once challenged to a jousting match even though she isn't a knight. Takahiro agrees to serve as her temporary begleiter, but as she signs up for the yearly tournament, their relationship blossoms.
