PLOT

The life of Kimihiro Watanuki was never particularly regular. In this follow-up to xxxHOLiC, he is still working for Yuuko, the weird shop's eccentric owner, who had promised to take away his ability to sense spirits. But this heavenly woman can only grant his request after he has put in enough effort to merit it. This is how anyone who enters the store might have their wish fulfilled: they must pay a sum of money equivalent to their wish. Watanuki finds himself assisting customers and doing home tasks for the ostensibly lethargic Yuuko and her companions in this strange shop that exists in both the living and the dead. Watanuki deals with the numerous disasters involving Yuuko's clients, as well as those that closely follow him and his companions. He does this alongside his classmates, purported romantic rival Shizuka Doumeki, and his crush Himawari Kunogi.
