PLOT
While other girls her age might view a luxurious trip with family as the ideal retreat, Rin Shima envisions herself camping alone at the foot of Mount Fuji. She has always done everything on her own, from setting up her tent to gathering firewood, and she has no intention of leaving her small, lonely world. However, when the lost Nadeshiko Kagamihara is compelled to seek safety at Rin's campground, what initially appears to be one of her typical camping outings turns up as a surprise get-together for two. Nadeshiko had intended to travel to the picturesque vista of Mount Fuji for herself, but her intentions are derailed when she ends up dozing off en route. She is the only one close, so she has no choice but to ask for assistance. The two girls enjoy the frigid night together despite their hurried introductions, eating ramen and talking as the bonfire keeps them warm. Even after Nadeshiko's sister does finally pick her up later that evening, the two girls contemplate going camping again together in silence.
