PLOT
Agetarou Katsumata, whose family operates a tiny tonkatsu store in Shibuya, aspires to be a professional DJ by night and a tonkatsu chef by day. Agetarou delivers an order to a staff member at a nightclub one night, and as a thank you, he is granted in. Though first uneasy, he eventually loses himself in the scene, falling head over heels for the dancing girls, bright lights, and upbeat music. Agetarou begins frequenting the club, and on one particular night he has a chance meeting with Big Master Fly, a renowned American DJ. Agetarou had a revelation as a result of the DJ's amazing performance: the rhythm of making tonkatsu and the groove of music mixing are remarkably comparable. Agetarou sets his eyes on mastering both disciplines going forward. Agetarou chases his dream with assistance from his neighborhood buddies and his mentor DJ Oily while juggling family troubles, love problems, and numerous other difficulties. In the amusing story Tonkatsu DJ Agetarou, a reckless young guy tries to forge his own path in life while still carrying out his familial and societal obligations.
