PLOT
It opens with Dr. Saotome looking for outstanding individuals to pilot his invention, the Getter Robo. This is a retelling of the Getter Robo narrative. His son Tatsuhito was severely hurt during a Getter conflict, and many people who attempted to pilot it have died in the process. Ryoma Nagare, Hayato Jin, and Benkei Musashibo are the three men he chooses as the Getter Robo's pilots. The Oni, unknown beings who unexpectedly appeared and happen to resemble mythical monsters, must now be fought and destroyed.
