PLOT
A young woman from Tokorozawa named Riko Morisawa travels to Tokyo with her buddy Mana. Riko notices a banner advertising an event for the Little Battlers eXperience (LBX) line of toys as they stroll around Ikebukuro's shops. Riko is persuaded by Mana to buy one, and after initially refusing, she eventually buys her father a couple LBX kits. A time fissure appears when one of the boxes marked "LBX Assassin" is opened, sending Riko into the skies of an alternative Japan. She is in the process of falling at terminal velocity when an LBX Assassin-inspired exosuit appears around her, stopping the drop. She runs into the Mimesis, deadly metallic invaders of planet after world, but, on the ground. Four other girls with LBXs come to Riko's aid as she runs from these creatures. When the group finds out about Riko's situation, they decide to accept her into their "Soukou Musume" battle team.
