PLOT
Nanako Yukishiro, 16, is regarded by the pupils of Karai High School as a lovely, composed, and adorable young lady. Nanako, however, is not your typical girl because she cannot speak. Instead, Nanako expresses herself through senryuu, or poems with 17 syllables. Eiji Busujima, now 16 years old, was a troublemaker in middle school. But thanks to his recent discovery of senryuu, he has subsequently changed for the better. Despite his intimidating appearance, Eiji gets along well with Nanako as a fellow Literature Club member. Despite the fact that Nanako is deaf, the charming duo communicates with ease. Senryuu Shoujo is an enjoyable and light novel about the daily lives of two youngsters.
