PLOT
Subaru Hasegawa aspires to rank among the greatest basketball stars of all time. But when his school's basketball team suspends play for a year, things seem to come to an end. He decides to discontinue his involvement in basketball after being shocked by the news. He grudgingly accepts his aunt Mihoshi Takamura's invitation to instruct the ladies' basketball team at Keishin Academy in the sport. In the sixth grade, he meets Tomoka Minato, Maho Misawa, Airi Kashii, Hinata Hakamada, and Saki Nagatsuki. He starts teaching them the sport with the single objective of defeating every formidable opponent he encounters. Five elementary school girls and their coach work to perfect their cute basketball-playing technique in the animated film Ro-Kyu-Bu!
