PLOT
A traditional sport called "Senshadou" involves using tanks from World War II in elimination-style competitions. It is promoted as a kind of art meant to elevate women in society and appeal to men, and is widely practiced by both women and girls. Senshadou's impact eventually causes the formation of a world championship that will soon take place in Japan once it becomes a phenomenon on a global scale. Miho Nishizumi, who hails from a family of renowned senshadou experts, is at odds with the sport as a result of a tragic experience that caused her to retire and ultimately caused a breach to develop between her family. She transfers to the Ooarai Girls Academy where the senshadou program has been discontinued in order to avoid the practice as much as possible. Miho is persuaded to join the program when the school revives it in light of the impending championships. She must now overcome her past and reassume command of a squadron of tanks in an effort to prevent the closing of her school, with the help of some new friends, all the while demonstrating to her family that the Nishizumi-style of senshadou is not just about victory.
