PLOT
Tatsumi notices a man who has fallen when he is walking home from school near a lake. Tatsumi approaches him and discovers an oddity: the guy in need of assistance is actually a gorgeous merman by the name of Wakasa! Tatsumi kindly provides his bathtub as a sanctuary because Wakasa's house has grown too contaminated to dwell in. Tatsumi's usual life won't be returning anytime soon with a raucous merman as his new roommate. In addition, Wakasa's aquatic buddies Takasu, Mikuni, and Maki frequently drop by without notice, making them all rather a hassle for the high school student. Tatsumi occasionally finds himself laughing at their childlike antics as he indulges their curiosity for human existence, but he must maintain his composure if he wants to continue living his life and maintaining his new acquaintance.
