PLOT
Yuuto Amakawa leads a fairly typical city existence after the passing of his parents. His cat allergies are the only issue he has to deal with while going to school with his neighbor Rinko. On his sixteenth birthday, an Ayakashi—a supernatural being—attacks him in retaliation for his ancestors' transgressions, which causes everything to alter. Fortunately, Himari, a mystery cat-woman wielding a sword, intervenes to save him. She reveals that Yuuto is the descendant of a family of demon-slayers, and she is there to defend him now that the spell that kept him concealed from the magical forces of the world has lost its potency. Omamori Himari details Yuuto's interactions with numerous supernatural entities as well as the increasing number of ladies who arrive at his door with their own sinister desires. Will Yuuto be able to adapt to his brand-new, "interesting," setting? Or will the specter of his (his ancestor's) past resurface?
