PLOT
contemporary post-war Japan is split into four military zones, each of which is governed by a rival nation vying for total dominance. Despite the fact that the Boundary War, which was fought with the aid of humanoid mecha weaponry known as AMAIM, has long since ended, the conflict between these sides is still present, and as a result, the Japanese are subjected to severe oppression. Gai is an autonomous AI in need of battery power when Amou Shiiba, a 16-year-old orphan kid, comes into him while surreptitiously repairing Kenbu, an abandoned AMAIM. Amou and Gai end up in the middle of a catastrophe as a result of their decision to aid one another, and Amou is branded a terrorist and exiled from society. Amou, however, is unyielding in the face of injustice and sets out on a protracted journey filled with hardship and company. From leading a quiet life to releasing the Japanese people, his goal changes.
