PLOT
Youkai, or hidden spirits, live throughout the globe. The fragile peace between youkai and humans is threatened by a small subgroup of them, albeit the majority are benevolent. Kotoko Iwanaga has acted as a bridge between the two realms, settling any supernatural issues that come her way, ever since she accepted to become their "God of Wisdom." Kotoko meets Kurou Sakuragawa, a university student whose long-term love ended tragically, at a nearby hospital. Kotoko approaches Kurou for help in assisting youkai since she has affections for him and believes that something supernatural resides within his seemingly innocent appearance. Two years later, the press was inundated with reports of an idol who had unintentionally been killed by steel beams. Months later, though, reports of sightings of a lady with no face and a steel beam start to surface. Kotoko and her colleague set out to stop this spirit from creating havoc as is the case with any supernatural issue, but this case may out up being far more terrible and personal than they could have ever imagined.
