PLOT
A struggling investigator named Kurou Daijuuji resides in Arkham City. He once received a request to look for a magic book from Ruri Hado of the Hado Financial Group. When Ruri's desire was fulfilled, she persuaded Kuro to agree by offering him a sizable quantity of money, which he initially rejected. Kurou suddenly encounters Al, a beautiful female who is actually a potent grimoire, as he looks for the book. They enter into an agreement and endow Kuro with strong magic. Soon after, in order to counter the mechanical threat from the Black Lodge, Al also activates Demonbane, a deus machina owned by the Hado Financial Group. With this, the conflict between the Black Lodge and the Hado Financial Group officially starts.
