PLOT
Yako Katsuragi is a well-known high school detective who, in spite of her youth, has successfully solved a number of crimes. In fact, it seems like she can solve any case and bring any criminal to justice. The fact that her aide, Neuro Nougami, actually solves the cases is the secret to her prodigious crime-solving abilities, and it is kept inside the confines of her detective business. But to describe Neuro as an everyday man would be inaccurate. He is actually a demon who, after unraveling every puzzle in the demon universe, came to the human world in search of the greatest secret. He feeds on the bad energy emitted by people who commit crimes, using Yako as his proxy. He then pledges to assist Yako in figuring out the cause of her father's passing. Yako plays the investigator because he knows that in order to succeed, he must remain undetected. In order to satiate Neuro's insatiable desire and Yako's urgent hunt for the truth regarding her father's death, Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro follows this odd pair as they solve case after case.
