PLOT
Tokyo's districts are being extensively renovated as part of the Babylon Project, which also entails the construction of artificial islands in the Bay. Using "Labors," or robots made specifically for work, architects and construction teams can move the overhaul's development along more quickly. Captain Kiichi Gotou's Patlabor police team is charged with investigating when a major figure in the design of the Project is discovered dead after committing himself in strange circumstances. Young pilot Noa Izumi and her Patlabor Alphonse work under Gotou's orders to protect the city and the entire country from a major biblical plot as various Labors start to go awry and a hacked AI software puts the people of Tokyo in risk.
