PLOT
Macross Zero tells the story of the last few weeks of the conflict between the U.N. Spacy and anti-U.N. forces, and it takes place one year before the Zentraedi arrive on Earth. Ace pilot Shin Kudo finds himself on the isolated island of Mayan, where technology is all but nonexistent, after being shot down by the anti-newest U.N.'s fighter plane. The peace of the island is disturbed by a conflict with the VF-0, the UN's newest fighter, while Shin remains on the island to recover from his injuries.
