PLOT
Izuminokami Kanesada and Horikawa Kunihiro, two time travelers from the year 1863, land in Edo's streets to look into their master's claims of an impending enemy invasion. They have been tasked with defending history against the Retrograde Army that attempts to change it as humanoid manifestations of the renowned Toshizou Hijikata's swords. They soon enlist the assistance of other swordsmen and fight the enigmatic army during the Bakumatsu era. Their journey won't be simple, though. The two will be forced to make difficult choices with everything they value at stake in a bloody and betrayal-filled period that is close to their hearts.
