PLOT
For 400 years, the Kagemori family has been covertly defending the Konnyaku family, a neighbor. Since they were in kindergarten together, Mamoru has been Yna Konnyaku's guardian. Mamoru rapidly dons his ninja costume and transforms into a skilled ninja, capable of defending Yna while she is in danger. Unfortunately, this is rather difficult because Yna frequently makes mistakes that require Mamoru to save her again because she is clumsy and forgetful. A model airplane unintentionally dives toward Yuna on the first day of their new school year, but it is promptly stopped by a thrown kunai. Airi Sawagashi invites Yna to go bowling at school, but she gets upset when Mamoru shows there as well. Yna enters the men's bathroom at the bowling alley and disrupts a yakuza transaction with phony dolls. In order to get her to their boss, they kidnap her. Mamoru pursues them, eliminates the gang, and saves Yna. New characters join Yna and Mamoru's life as the plot develops, bringing with them hilarious adventures, hints of romance, and conflicts with the most bizarre of foes.
