East side of the Shinjuku ward There is a Kabukicho with plenty of neon lights in the middle of the street where the mayhem is the worst. The shadow grows deeper as the light intensity increases. When an odd murder occurs one night, the narrative starts! Suspense? Maybe comedy? Drama that is difficult to pin down starts! On October 11, 2019, Production I.G. debuted Kabukichou Sherlock, an original anime. As they struggle with enigmatic happenings in metropolitan Japan, the story follows a fresh take of the famous Arthur Conan Doyle characters.
