PLOT
Hikari Kamijou, a fifteen-year-old[note 1] girl in the novel, discovers a love for rhythmic gymnastics after witnessing her idol Diliana Georgieva compete and triumph in a competition. Hikari accepts Diliana's offer to train him in Bulgaria. She starts her training and joins the rhythmic gymnastics squad at her school. Hikari initially exhibits a lack of natural talent, but after she meets Takaaki Ooishi, a fellow gymnast and popular classmate, she begins to develop. Hikari's talent expands with his encouragement, putting her on the map of popularity with Hazuki Shiina, the top rhythmic gymnast at her school. A friendly rivalry grows when Hikari and Hazuki begin their joint training for the World Cup competition. Hikari asks Mao Natsukawa for assistance because she wants to exemplify Hazuki's delicate elegance.
