PLOT
Takeshi Mura is a typical middle schooler who is afflicted with bad luck because his life is miserable on a daily basis due to events like his house burning down, him getting his hand in dung, being followed by a wild dog, and other misfortunes. One day, an angel named Elle appears to him and tells him that she has descended from the skies to help Takeshi with his tragedy. With Elle's assistance, he forms his bad luck into a little ball and throws it out of sight to get rid of it. Takeshi discovers the ball once more and decides to wait for someone to pick it up while Elle departs and he goes about his daily activities. Unluckily, a little girl notices the ball and moves into the path of a truck that is moving. Takeshi touches the ball and yells that he would be the successor of the bad luck if he wasn't saved by Elle after realizing he wouldn't be pleased if he didn't save the girl. The angel brings them to a house's backyard before changing into a human (experiencing gravity and a tangible body). From that point on, Elle enrolls at Takeshi's school and moves in with the Mura family, taking on their name.
