PLOT
Five years ago, a sizable portion of Ikebukuro vanished over night as a result of a puzzling phenomena called the Global Synchronic Urban Disappearance. Following the calamity, the locals were left in a state of chaos, and mysterious electromagnetic abnormalities known as "Auroras" started to be seen. High school student Seria Morino is inspired to pursue her dream of becoming an idol after witnessing idol Izumi Hinazaki perform at a play on the "Super Material Theater," a theater created to revive Ikebukuro with hologram-enhanced plays. Soon after, she is discovered by Kaoru Sakakibara, a young lady who later reveals herself to be the director of Alice in Theater, the group that Izumi once performed with. Seria makes the decision to follow Kaoru and join Alice in Theater in order to achieve her goals. She is warmly welcomed by a bunch of young, amiable females who are all very passionate about acting when she arrives at their firm. But something doesn't seem right.
