PLOT

The parents of Xiao Yan (Leo Wu) are Xiao Zhan (Yu Rongguang) and Gu Wenxin (Carman Lee). When Xiao Yan was nine years old, his mother was murdered by foes, but his father never brought it up. His mother's ring absorbed all of his advancement until he was fifteen years old, which prevented his martial art from progressing. After making contact with the ring one day, Xiao Yan runs into the elderly man Yao Chen (Baron Chen). Xiao Yan improves well in martial arts with Yao Chen's assistance and discovers his mother's death to be the main motivator. After enrolling, Xiao Yan finds acquaintances at the Jianan Academy. After being falsely accused and narrowly escaping, he learns that his family is doomed. Xiao Yan made a firm decision to take on a single opponent to oppose the forces of evil in order to exact revenge for the murder of his mother and also for Jianghu's justice.
