PLOT
Mining for this weird metal ore starts all over the planet in 2047 after humanity found a rare metal resource called "Gaimetal" that has a tremendous amount of energy. The GCG (also known as "Gaist Crusher Garrison") was established in 2064 as a response to the Gaist, a race of metallic monsters whose bodies were covered in Gaimetal, who were attacking humanity on a regular basis. The Gaist Crushers—humans equipped with specialized Gaimetal armor known as "Gaist Gear"—are dispatched by the GCG in 2075 to defend humanity against the Gaist as well as the threat posed by an unidentified group known as "Erasers."
