PLOT
During the fall of Berlin on May 1, 1945, a group of Nazi commanders performed a particular ritual as a result of the numerous lives lost in the conflict, which served as the impetus for their sacrifice ceremony. After the war, they vanished into folklore, and it is unknown whether these officers were successful in recreating the Order of the 13 Lances. 61 years later, in Japan, Ren Fujii and Shirou Yusa have a violent argument that lands Ren in the hospital for two months, shattering their friendship. Ren had hoped to start over after being discharged from the hospital without Shirou, but his plans are derailed when the city is attacked and consumed by madness that transcends reason. In before of Ren's eyes, abnormalities soon attempt to violently demolish all he values. Ren must change, even if it means blurring the line between the ordinary and the remarkable, even though his ambitions aren't particularly lofty. He only wants to go back to the simpler, happier times of the past.
