PLOT
Veludo Way is a popular destination for people who want to see stage performances and street activities. Izumi Tachibana visits the location where her father ran the once-famous theater company Mankai Company after receiving a mysterious letter, but she discovers that the structure is about to be repurposed because of enormous debt. She persuades the debt collector to give the group another chance at the last minute. The four all-male sub-troupes must be reinstated, the loan must be paid off within a year, and their premiere show must be produced successfully by the end of the next month for him to agree to accept. And to top it all off, Izumi has to take over as director. Itaru Chigasaki, a seasoned office worker; Tsuzuru Minagi, an ambitious playwright; Masumi Usui, a lad smitten with Izumi; and Citron, a cheerful foreigner, are the five individuals Izumi hastily assembles for the Spring Troupe. Izumi must train and prepare them for a performance that will bring back the fame of Mankai Company despite the fact that they have little to no acting experience.
